Born in Uganda, Dr. Kabukuru came to the United States as a child and grew up in the Los Angeles area. He later joined the U.S. Navy and spent much of his adult life overseas. A lifelong learner, English is his fourth language. Dr. Kabukuru graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente in Seattle before joining Vera Whole Health in 2024. He is passionate about whole person medicine, preventative care, and age-related medicine. He enjoys running with his dog, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
