Rebecca Hendrix, FNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in rural Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 2003. After graduation, she worked in Chattanooga, Tennessee gaining valuable experience in both a Cardiac Stepdown Unit and a Cardiac Catheterization lab/Recovery Unit. Rebecca later earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2008 and began private practice in Chattanooga. After meeting her husband while whitewater kayaking, the couple relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where she worked in a local urgent care while also taking time to explore the western United States. Rebecca is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and a lifetime member of Omicron Delta Kappa. Since 2015, she has been serving patients at the Cobb County Wellness Center, where she enjoys caring for Cobb County employees and being part of a community that maintains a small-town feel despite being part of the greater Atlanta area. Rebecca lives in Cobb County with her husband and their two children.
