Amy Keljo, NP
Amy grew up in Chicago, Illinois and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychobiology from Wellesley College. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked for several years coordinating large-scale osteoporosis and cardiovascular clinical trials. She when on to ear her Master's in Public Health in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from Yale University, and gained additional experience in health outcomes research and medical education before pursuing her life-long goal of becoming a health care provider. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Washington and spent the early part of her career practicing primary care at the Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic. Amy became a nurse practitioner because she appreciates nursing's focus on the whole person. As a provider, she puts that into practice by taking the time to listen and being thorough. She strives to create a safe space where patients feel comfortable sharing their health goals and invite her to partner in making them happen. She is excited to be part of Vera's unique healthcare model and loves the energy and mission of the team! In her free time you will find Amy playing around with her husband and son, skiing, dancing, traveling, and taking pictures to capture it all.
