Beth Kennedy, NP

Beth attended the University of Pittsburgh in 1984 where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She later returned to the university in 1996 to receive a Master's degree. Through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Beth received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Beth was a staff RN at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA for 10 years working on various medical units. She has been working as a nurse practitioner for 22 years in both family practice and internal medicine. Beth chose a career in healthcare to make a difference in people's lives. She continues to live out that goal at Vera by focusing on prevention and helping people change behaviors. In her spare time, Beth enjoys the outdoors while hiking and backpacking. She also enjoys yoga, traveling, and dog walking!
