Lola Prince, NP

Dr. Prince joined Vera Whole Health in 2023 after spending over two decades in graduate academic administration while also devoting her time to providing primary health care for underserved populations. She completed a Ph.D., in Nursing Science with distinction from Loyola University Chicago in 2005. She completed a Master of Science in Nursing with distinction with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner at DePaul University in 1998 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University. She has been board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 1998. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a certified critical care registered nurse in various intensive care units. It was during that time, she realized that health promotion and preventive health care were key to reducing poor health outcomes which led her to pursue graduate education. As a primary care provider for over twenty-five years, she has valued and practiced holistic care serving patients residing in rural, suburban, and urban communities in the areas of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, College Health, In-patient Behavioral Health, Retail Health, Telemedicine, and Women's Health. She believes that every patient has the right to receive respectful and compassionate care that embraces diversity in building a patient-provider partnership for healthcare. She enjoys roller skating, gardening, and traveling with her family.
