Phyllis Goodwin, NP

Phyllis is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with seven years of experience in family practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1987 from Wichita State University in Kansas. Phyllis returned to Wichita State University and received her Master of Science in Nursing as a clinical nurse specialist in 1991. After a long career in critical care nursing, she returned to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner graduating from Frontier Nursing University in 2014. Phyllis is a veteran of the United States Army where she was a combat medic before using the GI Bill to go to college. She has a passion for disaster response serving as a member of the National Disaster Medical System. When not in the care center, Phyllis enjoys exploring and photographing all that Alaska has to offer.
