Krishna Patel, MD

Originally from Florida, Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua and completed her residency at the Institute for Family Health - Mid-Hudson in upstate NY while serving as chief resident in her final year. Before joining Vera Whole Health, Dr. Patel worked at UCSF in California. She is a compassionate provider who focuses on treating the whole patient, body and mind. She strives to create a warm and friendly environment where meaningful discussions can take place regarding one's health. She believes in empowering people with education and collaborating with them on a treatment plan that works with their lifestyle. She's passionate about women's health (including IUD and implant placement), mental health, and preventive care. To stay healthy and happy, Krishna likes to travel, ski, work out, try new restaurants, spend time with family and friends, and catch up on her favorite shows.
