Daquesha Chever, DO

Dr. Daquesha C. Chever earned her doctorate degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. Upon successfully completing an empowering and rigorous internship year at Genesys Medical Center in Grand Blanc Michigan. Dr. Chever went on to complete her residency in Family medicine at NSU-Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida, in 2012. Since graduation, Dr. Chever found her niche in the medical field with a fierce love of teaching. Subsequently Dr. Chever was awarded Clinical Preceptor of the Year at her Alma-mater in 2015. Dr. Chever is excited to be joining Vera Whole Health at the West Marietta location. She comes to Vera with 10+ years Urgent Care experience, where she diligently and passionately treated thousands of patients annually and facilitated better health outcomes in her community. She now wishes to bring this knowledge and experience to Vera as she realizes she can make a significant impact on healthcare by preventing disease and sickness instead of merely treating the symptoms. She believes this is a better way to improve overall health conditions and lifestyle for her patients. Dr. Chever inspires inside and outside the medical office. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening and writing self help books. She has passionately pursued helping others grow into their best selves through her writing. Her first book "Step Into Your Destiny" was an Amazon #1 best seller which propelled her to reach an even larger audience, which then came about her second book titled Releasing.
