Rekha Singh, MD

During family medicine residency, Dr. Singh worked closely with registered dietitians to broaden her knowledge in nutrition. After residency, she worked as an emergency physician and transitioned to family practice. Dr. Singh's experience includes board certification in Bariatrics, immigration physicals and Geriatrics with multiple chronic conditions. She previously owned a medspa, Atlanta Laser Clinic, which was voted #1 by the Atlanta Journal Constitution as the best laser clinic in Gwinnett County. Most recently, Dr. Singh worked at Georgia Clinic. Dr. Singh attended Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi India. She completed her family practice residency and faculty development fellowship at Morehouse. She has also pursued functional medicine and homeopathic certification. Dr. Singh finds family practice very gratifying. She believes she makes a difference in patient lives. She enjoys treating the whole patient. She joined Vera because she was looking for a place that values preventative care and offers a good working environment. Dr. Singh likes to read, learn new things and grow her skills. She also enjoys watching movies, socializing with friends, watching movies, music and cooking. Dr. Singh is relatable and willing to take the time to understand each person.
