Alina Urriola, MD

Dr. Urriola's career in Family Medicine reflects her passion for health restoration, maintenance and promotion. She is committed to excellent, compassionate care that is tailored to each patient's condition, values, traditions and beliefs. Dr. Urriola empowers patients to set their health goals and to become their own agents of care. She is board certified in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Urriola completed medical school in Brazil and trained in Family Medicine in her native Panama. She subsequently completed residency in Family Medicine and in Preventive Medicine in Saint Louis Missouri. She has provided care in the Puget Sound since 1998. In addition to her family medicine practice, she volunteers providing care to the underserved, teaches and mentors students and serves as board of director. She enjoys the challenges that come with care for a diverse patient population and strives to treat each individual as unique, whether the needs are treating an acute ailment, managing a chronic condition, or dealing with the complexities of psychosocial challenges. When she is not taking care of patients and learning about health, she is busy cooking, gardening, hiking, painting and traveling with her family.
