Alison Kneisl, MD

As a family medicine physician with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Kneisl believes that establishing a relationship of trust with her patients is of utmost importance. She strives to truly understand each patient on a personal level and to collaborate with them to uncover their unique path towards health and well-being. Her passions include mental health, preventive health, food as medicine, patient education, and integrative medicine (incorporating complementary and alternative therapies in addtion to Western medicine). She is a graduate of UCSF School of Medicine and the UC Berkeley School of Public Health and has worked in multiple different health care settings focusing on patient-centered care. Outside of work, she loves to travel and explore other cultures and cuisines, and strives to spend as much time in natural settings and/or with her family as possible.
