Amanda Brender, MD

Dr. Amanda Brender is a board certified family medicine doctor who practiced at Group Health/Kaiser for 11 years doing full spectrum family medicine as well as teaching students and residents prior to joining Vera in 2021. Dr. Brender grew up locally, graduating from Bothell High school where she was captain of the gymnastics team before graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from WSU. She received her MD degree Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Update Medical University, and completed her residency with Group Health Family Medicine. A natural caretaker and teacher, health care was the perfect fit. She has a passion for womens's health, procedures, sports medicine and chronic condition management including diabetes and obesity.
